Let us play the game
Russian roulette of liars
Any word you say
Will be repaid with fire
Feigning for the fame
All the words will divide us
Keep ourselves in chains
Wrought from anger and mire
Despising our own
Different names
Yet all the same
Will our sins be paid through blood and rage
Talk to me
Please help me know I’m sane
Please help me know it will change
Buried too deep to dig out from the layers of lies
What’s right
What’s wrong
We feed the beast again and again
This night drowns out color
Drones serve one another
It feeds the beast again and again and again and again and again
Different names
Yet all the same
Break me make me obey
Defiance is my pain
Different shades of the grey that entwines us
All afraid from the game that divides us
All I crave is somewhere safe
Surrendered my will to the giants
Now I’ve become that which I hate
Matured to a shell of a natural fake
My will is not my own
Adrift is now my home
I’m moored to the everchanging right and wrong
They said I’m not welcome here
Render their disgraces and all them faceless
I gave up my identity
All that I believed
Just to be depleted
Eaten, spit out, cheated
Broken, mangled
Empty mannequin you made
Effigy’s aflame
Now the beast has been sated
Til it feeds again
And the next one is fated
This night neverending
Consumes us all
Doesn’t matter how you try
Nothing in it will survive

The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
Streamlining their post-metal sprawl through a sharper melodic focus, the Scottish juggernauts' third LP is labyrinthine yet approachable. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 25, 2024
looking forward to the next release(s). Although previous work is excellent, this design, arrangements, and overall mix/mastering are phenomenal. One of my favorite things about instrumental music is the fact it speaks differently to each person. Sure, there's standout tracks for the average listener, but reviewing comments to find a ton of variety in their "favorite track" it speaks to Aaron's vision for progressive melodic metal that's easy to listen to, while still demanding your attention. patrick riolo
