Watching the waves escape to find their ending
Standing above in expectation
Fighting the horror to acquaint with them
Passionate lights I've lit from precious moments
Only to dwindle to a headstone
How do the moments make you more a man
Life escapes before you know
Tell me what I have to show
My name is unknown
What good are deeds when in the end you're alone
I gave all I am
No parades and no symphonies
To see a smile was worth the while for me
I healed souls that bleed
I fought all my days
While my comrades had fame
Contribution with no credit to my name
Well we all die the same
Why am I crying
Would it only take a taste
The music from below screams it's too late
I lived a million lives and still don't know me
This worthless prophet tells his fables
How does living make you more of a man
I've seen time
Have I wasted mine
What’s worth mean before I die?
Days slipped away
Would fame have been a mistake
Surreal regret as I feel my conscience fading
I'm too numb to keep on waiting
Would fame have been a mistake
Given all to others only to be broken down
Anxiety grinding me
Doubled over hiding
The sorrow seethes consuming me
Feed my self-deriding
Knock me out, put me to sleep
No more pull tonight
End this
Twisted inside by the choice
We decide
All our lives
Why not end repetition
Imagine a world
With no imagining
Pain is volition
Seeking the void
So I avoid
Every fucking decision
The Final Decision to take me away
Take me to my grave
Pain slips away
When you suddenly kill your mistakes
My deeds were a lie
My meaning for dying, my willing to die
Why breathe air when the river's below
My last decision
All the the lights casting shadows that grow
Light creates my flight
Flying, I'm falling
What rush from the last of air
Hear all them calling
The famed and broken
Beggars and heirs
Freed from my ground
Terminal velocity is loud
Now my body and soul have found common ground
Given all away
Would fame have been a mistake
Surreal regret as I feel my conscience fading
Not much longer to be waiting
This may have been a mistake
Done with serving others only to be broken
Smashing into the void
Embrace the water's silence
Making my Final Choice
My peaceful sleep in violence
Feeling my lungs await their final ending
Questioning all my expectation my pain
Fought for the horror breathing water cold
All of my life I fought to keep them living
Only to bite the bullet by my envy
I'm trading nothing for my nothingness
I made a mistake
One of a million
The drowning makes me shake
I love and I hate them
I'm doubting why I came
I came here to leave them
Someone knows my name
But the wrong ones proclaimed it
Why am I dying
I've only needed peace and reason
The music of life cries
The water pulls me in
But my life has just began
I see now the depths of pain
I know now someone knows my name
Claw for life as I feel my conscience fading
There's no time to keep on waiting
Pain slips away
When I breathe life once again
A real regret to deny those I was saving
All my life is meant for saving
Resting upon the shore
I clear my lungs of anger
Open my eyes to more
Than living as a stranger

The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
Streamlining their post-metal sprawl through a sharper melodic focus, the Scottish juggernauts' third LP is labyrinthine yet approachable. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 25, 2024

looking forward to the next release(s). Although previous work is excellent, this design, arrangements, and overall mix/mastering are phenomenal. One of my favorite things about instrumental music is the fact it speaks differently to each person. Sure, there's standout tracks for the average listener, but reviewing comments to find a ton of variety in their "favorite track" it speaks to Aaron's vision for progressive melodic metal that's easy to listen to, while still demanding your attention. patrick riolo
